PV & food production - The FEW-System

We are currently developing a project that combines PV Power with food production.

The project is targeting two issues for the price of one.

The first part is making clean Energy from the sun, and the second part is not to spoil any opportunity to produce food during this process.

We will however split up the Solar Power production and the food production in watertight operations, so that the PV Investors only concern is the normal PV business relations, which will have nothing to do with the food production underneath. This will be done through legal easements.

We see through legislation in many Countries that have a Feed-In-Tariff system for PV Energy, that it favorites PV Power Plants on rooftops or in Industrial areas, and the first Country that in year 2000 started the PV Solar FIT System in the world, Germany, has now by law actually forbidden by 2011 to build PV Power Plants on agricultural Land.

This system assures that the PV investors will avoid a forthcoming criticism in a foreseeable future of using agricultural Land to PV production, as we have seen in some other countries in Europe at a growing number.

Secondly, we want to produce food underneath the PV Power production, to be possible anywhere in the world, no matter the soils condition.
